We invite you to explore our website and learn more about our Church in Kalaymyo, Myanmar. We are dedicated to glorifying God, sharing the Gospel, and serving others through God-centered worship, discipleship and outreach.
We hold firmly to the primary teaching of the Bible. The Bible is the only sole of our faith and practice.
"All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works." (II Timothy 3:16-17)
The beginning of Bible Baptist Church in Kalaymyo, Myanmar, is a remarkable story of faith and dedication. It all started with the arrival of Thomas Lian and his wife, Priscilla Kim, a missionary couple who felt called by God to share the Gospel among non-Christian community.
"I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it." Matthew 16:18
Our Church meets at a rented house for worship meetings since its inception. We have been praying for a piece of land and building for our church permanent worship meeting place and ministry activities.
"Serve the Lord with gladness: come before his presence with singing." Psalm 100:2
Our Church recognizes the urgent need for trained and dedicated national workers for the ministry. At Bible Baptist Church, we are planning and working to establish a Bible College to fulfill our mission of equipping and empowering individuals for the ministry. "The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few; Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest." (Matthew 9:37-38)
A VISION To SEND AND SUPPORT NATIVE MISSIONARIES
We believe that mission is the heartbeat of God and the whole task of the local church. We believe that the local church is God's agent for sending out missionaries. So, it is our vision and prayer to send and support missionaries in Myanmar.
"How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!" (Romans 10:14-15)
A VISION TO START CHILDREN CENTER
As followers of Christ, our Church believes in the importance of demonstrating love and compassion towards those who are marginalized and in need. We are planning and working to establish a center to meet physical and spiritual needs of orphans and underprivileged children.
"Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world." (James 1:27)
